 Lt-Col Roger Laing, a retired Army officer, MOD, continues the story of the war in the Pacific.

Yamamoto was the Japanese commander-in-chief during the early years of the Pacific War and oversaw the attack on Pearl Harbor and the Battle of Midway. He was shot down and killed in 1943 when American code breakers decrypted a message containing his flight plans.

Visitors are welcome; an attendance fee of £3.00 is charged for non-members and includes tea or coffee.
