Being since the beginning of March 1915 on service with the First Flying Division, attached to the 3rd Russian Army Corps, Miss Florence Farmborough, of Steeple Claydon, was awarded the St. George’s Medal for attending to the wounded under fire. The decoration was similar to the British V.C.
