I went into a pub and a chap there, and he said “Oh the Territorials are not in the trenches”. I remember saying to him, “Well, where do you think I got my wounds from then?” He said…“Self-inflicted”. I remember him saying that and old Arthur Toogood, he was the landlord…heard it. He told him to get out the pub and not go in it again.
