Garage & Carport – very adventurously, for a time when a single garage was the norm for anything but luxury developments, each bungalow (the 3 bedroom versions as well as the 4 bedroom ones) had covered space for two cars; anticipating by more than three decades the current requirement for double garages on more expensive housing.

However, two bathrooms, which was just emerging as a requirement for the most expensive houses, and had been included in the initial design, were not provided in the final development; though the cloakroom design allowed a shower to be easily added, which has in fact happened in a number of those bungalows which have not added second or third bathrooms elsewhere.
