Woughton Skills Ladder

The Woughton Skills Ladder project is based at the Farthing Centre in Netherfield. It aims to provide advice, guidance and initial training for the residents of Woughton and the local area. In addition, the centre acts as a UK On-Line centre that has enabled one of the training rooms to be equipped as a computer suite. For more info on training and courses visit http://www.mkcollege.ac.uk/community/woughton.htm

Milton Keynes Heritage Association

The MKHA has received a grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund to provide I.T. website training, and is looking for people in the Woughton area who may wish to help develop these web pages further through training. For more examples of what you might wish to do and for information about other areas of Milton Keynes have a look at the MKHA website at www.mkheritage.co.uk

Milton Keynes Council

MKC has been supporting the MKHA and Woughton Skills Ladder with its training under its own Resident Heritage project and ran the Woughton workshops last year. It is interested in supporting people with new skills with training in I.T. and website skills to help put photos, stories, memories and views of Woughton on these web pages and will continue to support the above partners in their work.
