Arts Society North Bucks

The North Buckinghamshire Decorative and Fine Arts Society was launched in 2009 and has now rebranded, in line with the national society, as The Arts Society North Bucks. The Society meets on the second Thursday of each month at Lovat Hall in Newport Pagnell.

Bletchley Archaeological & Historical Society

The Society organises monthly lectures, outings to places of interest and issues a newsletter. The Society successfully campaigned for the preservation of Rectory Cottages and has worked to preserve Bletchley Park. The monthly lectures are held in Rectory Cottages on the first Thursday of the month between October and May.

Bletchley Park, once the top-secret home of the World War Two code-breakers is now a vibrant heritage attraction. Ciphers and codes of several Axis countries were decrypted including, most importantly, those generated by the German Enigma and Lorenz machines.

Buckingham Old Gaol Museum

The Old Gaol was built in 1748 and enlarged in 1839. The Museum is an Arts Council of England Accredited Museum and the Tourist Information Centre provides everything you need for a visit to Buckingham and the surrounding area.
