Since it was founded in 1997 the Trust has studied and visited many different, parks gardens and designed landscapes, old and new, throughout the historic county, and beyond.
It runs a number of summer Walks in gardens in our county and those nearby throughout the year, and a series of Spring Talks at the County Museum, Aylesbury, over the winter/early spring period. It also run soccasional Seminars and Conferences, on a range of garden related topics.
The Trust’s publication The Bucks Gardener promotes ideas both old and new about the county’s legacy of historic gardens and designed landscapes.
The Buckinghamshire Gardens Trust is a Registered Charity no. 1099674 It is a member of the new organisation The Gardens Trust, which was formed in July 2015.
It has an active and funded Research and Recording group, exploring the legacy of historic parks gardens and other designed landscapes in the county.
