Chastleton House was built between 1607 and 1612 and is situated at Chastleton, close to Moreton-in-Marsh. It has been owned by the National Trust since 1991 and is a Grade I listed building. It is known for an event in the English Civil War in which a loyal wife duped Roundhead soldiers to save her husband. In the television series it represented ‘Wolf Hall,’ home of the Seymours. The talk is by Gary Marshall, a National Trust archaeologist and regular speaker.

Visitors are welcome; an attendance fee of £3.00 is charged for non-members and includes tea or coffee.
