A talk by Jill Eyers, geologist, palaeontologist, and archaeologist. Dr Eyers is Director of Chiltern Archaeology, an archaeological unit which specialises in archaeological excavation, geophysics, research, geo-archaeology, and finds work. Among her publications are Fossils – and where to find themRock Around Bucks!and Geological walks in North Buckinghamshire.

After hearing about the amazing stories which fossils can tell us, you will view our coastline and quarries in quite a new light. You can even visualize our local countryside with herds of unique pygmy mammoth roaming across it.

Visitors are welcome; an attendance fee of £3.00 is charged for non-members and includes tea or coffee.
