In the Name of God Amen I Henry Elliott of Haversham in ye County of Buckingham Clerk being infirm and weak in body but of sound and disposing mind and memory praised be to Almighty God therefore Do make this my last Will and Testament in manner and forme following (that is to say) First principally I Comend my soul into ye hands of ye Almighty God my Creator and my body I Comit to ye earth to be decently buryed at ye discretion of my well beloved Wife Ann Elliott humbly hopeing for a Joyfull resurrection to eternall life thro' falou. Merits and Mediation of Jesus Christ my most blessed and Mercifull Saviour and Redeemer and as for my Worldly estate I dispose of ye same as followeth And First I do nominate constitute and Appoint my Loveing Wife Ann Elliott to be my Sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament desireing her as soon as she Conveniently may be after my decease to pay all my Just debts and funeral expences out of and with my Goods, Chattells and personall estate and to effects A and whereas I have already in my lifetime according to my Ability taken care of and provided for my three Sons, John, Henry and Thomas Elliot now I do give and bequeath unto each of my said three sons one shilling a piece and no more of Lawfull money of Great Brittain to be paid unto them Respectively by my Executrix When ye Same shall be demanded Lastly all and Singular ye rest, residue and remainder of all my Goods and other Goods, Chattells, stock personall estate and effects of all sorts Whatsoever and Whersoever ye said shall be after payment of my said Just debts and funeral expences and severall Small Legacys herein before specified I do Give and bequeath unto my said Well beloved Wife Ann Elliot to and for her sole only use and benefit and for none Intent or purpose Whatsoever And I do hereby revoke all former and other Wills by me heretofore at any time made publishing and declareing this only for and as my last Will and Testament In Witness Whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal ye fourteenth day of October in ye Ninth year of the Reigne of Our Sovereign Lord George ye Second King over Great Brittain and so forth and in ye year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and thirty five Henry Elliot Signed Sealed and published and declared by ye said Henry Elliot ye Testator for and as his last Will and Testament in ye presence of us: Francis Dearsley Philip Barde.
