Nathaniel Harbert 1770
In the Name of God Amen I Nathaniel Harbert of Haversham in the County of Bucks Yeoman being of sound and disposing mind memory and understanding praised be God for the same Do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following that is to say. First and Principally I Commend my Soul unto the Hands of Almighty God who gave it hoping to be saved through the Merits of Jesus Christ my Body I commit to the Earth to be buried at the discretion of my Executor herein after named And as to such Worldly Estate and Effects as it hath pleased God to bestow upon me I dispose thereof as follows First I will that all my just Debts and funeral Expences be fully paid and satisfied by my Executor hereinafter named Next I Give and bequeath unto each of my Kinsmen John Harbart and Samuel Harbart (sons of my Brother John Harbart late of Hanslopp in the County Northampton [Bucks] deceased) the sum of one shilling only Next I give and bequeath unto my Kinsman Thomas Lucas (son of my brother in Law Thomas Lucas formerly of Stoke bruen [Bruerne] in the said County of Northampton Jersey Comber [his occupation] deceased) the sum of one Shilling and to each of his three sons Thomas Charles and Nathaniel Lucas I give the like sum of one Shilling only Next I give and bequeath unto my Kinswomen Elizabeth and Mary Harbart (Daughters of my Brother Benjamin Harbart late of Haversham aforesaid Labourer deceased) the sum of Fifteen pounds each Next I give and bequeath unto my Kinsman William Harbart son of my said Brother Benjamin Harbart deceased the sum of one shilling only Next I give and bequeath unto Elizabeth Fisher of Sherington in the said county of Bucks daughter of Richard Fisher late of Sherington aforesaid deceased the sum of five pounds which said sum of Five Pounds I do hereby Order shall be paid to the said Elizabeth Fisher at the Age of twenty one Years or day of Marriage which ever first shall happen Next I give and bequeath unto John Judge (son of Richard Judge of Great Linford in the said County of Bucks Labourer) the sum of Five pounds to be paid him at his Age of twenty one Years All which said Legacys above by me bequeathed (Except the said Legacys given to the said Mary Fisher and John Judge) I will and order the same to be paid by my Executor hereinafter named within twelve Months next after my decease And Lastly all the rest residue and remainder of my Goods Chattells Cattle and Personal Estate whatsoever and of what Nature sort or kind soever. I give and bequeath the same unto my Kinsman Daniel France of Haversham aforesaid Yeoman and to his Heirs Executors and Administrators And I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint the said Daniel France Executor of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking disannulling and making void all former and other Wills by me at any time heretofore made And do declare this only to be my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I the said Nathaniel Harbart the Testator have to this my last Will and Testament set my hand and seal this second day of November in the Year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred and sixty five The mark of the said Nathaniel Harbart Signed Sealed published and declared by the said Nathaniel Harbart the Testator as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who have hereunto subscribed our names as Witnesses in his presence and at his request and in the presence of each other Thomas Holt Joseph Reddon

Proved the 2nd day of August 1770 before the Reverend William Stockins Clerk Surrogate by the Oath of Daniel France sole Executor to whom Administration was committed he being first sworn duly to Administer
