In the name of God Amen I John Marriott of the parish of Haversham in the County of Bucks husbandman being of perfect mind and memory doe make and ordayne this my last Will and Testament in Manner and forme following ffirst and principally I commend my Soule into the handes of Almighty God my Creator Trusting in the only Merrits and Mediation of my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ for the Salvation of my Soule And I commit my body to the Earth from whence it was taken to be decently buryed According to the discretion of my Executrix hereinafter Mentioned and as for those Worldly goods which it hath pleased the Lord to bless me with all I give and bequeath in Manner following Imprimis I give unto my three Sons John Thomas and Daniel one shilling each Item I give unto my daughter Mary Sparks one shilling and I doe makes Wife ffrances Executrix of this my Last Will and Testament and doe give to her all that portion of goods and Chattells which the Lord hath blessed me with all only She to pay my debts and to Enjoye during her life and after her decease to be Equally parted betweene my three daughters Hester Marriott ffrances Marriott and Anne Marriott In Witness whereof to this my Last Will and Testament I have Set my hand and seale in the first Yeare of his Majesties reigne that Now is and in the Yeare of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and fourteene John Marriott Signed Sealed and declared to be the Last Will and Testament of John Marriott in the presence of John Glover Nathaniel Harbard
