In yt name of god amen ye fourth day of Aprill in ye year of our lord 1593. I John Pyrry of Haversham in the countie of Bucks being syke in body but of good and perfect remembrance do make my last wyll and testament in maner and forme following. first I bequeth my soule to almighty god my saviour and redeemer and my body to christian buriall with an assured hope to be raised again at ye resurrection of the Juste. Item I geve and bequeath to Anne my wife ye use and occupation of my lease in Haversham during ye time of her naturall life. Item I geve and bequeath all the remayander of ye sayd lease after ye decease of my wife to my three children, to be by equall portions distributed between them. Item I geve to Anne my wife all the rest of my goodes, discharging my debts and bringing up my children untyll they be able to lyve it them selves. And I make my sayd wife my sole executrix to see this my will and testament executed and fulfilled
