In the name of god Amen: in the yeare of our lord god 1614: the 26th of ffebruary; I John Pyrry of Haversham, beinge weake in bodie but in perfecte memory doe ordaine and make this my last will and testament, in manner and forme followinge: ffirst I give and bequeath my soule, to allmightie god my most mercifull creator, and redeemer, and my bodie to Christian burial, in sure and certaine hope of that it shall rise againe, at the resurrection of the reighteous to life everlasting: Item I give and bequeath to Christopher and John the sonnes of Thomas Carter, my sonne in lawe, each of them a coffer: Item I give and bequeath to every one of my children of my sonnes and daughters each of them ijs: Item I give and bequeath to Thomas Lea of Haversham iijs Item I give and bequeath to the wife of the saide Thomas Lea xijd Item I give and bequeath to my sonne Richard Pyrry and my sonne in lawe Anthony ffeilde each of them iijs iiijd Item I give unto my daughter Isabell Newman a loade of woode of that which is heare in my yard: Item I give and bequeath all the rest of my goodes, and chattels unbequeathed to my sonne in lawe Thomas Carter and his wife Judith my daughter, and doe constitute and make them my ioynt executors to see this my last will and testament executed and fulfilled Witnesses at the makinge hereof John Bird Christopher Carter John Carter
