In the Name of God amen I Thomas Shaxpier of the parish of Haversham in the County of Bucks Mason being of perfect mind and memory doe make and ordayne this my Last Will and Testament in Manner and forme following Imprimis I commend my soule into the hands of Almighty God my Creator in hopes of being saved by the merritts and Mediation of my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and for my body I commit to the Earth whence it was taken to be decently Buryed in such place and manner as shall seem most Convenient to my Executor hereafter Mentioned And as for that portion of Goods or Money which the Lord hath Blessed me with all I Give and bestow in Manner following Item I Give Unto my Wife one Shilling and I doe Make my brother Benjamin Shaxpier Executor of this my Last Will and Testament And I doe Give Unto him all the portion of money and Goods Which the Lord hath Blessed me with all In Wittness whereof to this my Last Will and testament I have Set my hand and Seale this twenty Eighth day of January in the Yeare of our Lord one Thousand Seven hundred and Sixteen Thomas Shaxpier his marke Signed Sealed and delivered to be the Last Will and Testament of Thomas Shaxpier in the presence of Sarah Robarts Mary Bayly her Mark Thomas Clothier his marke
