The Hanslope and District Historical Society has been in existence since 1990. A standing committee of members arrange open meeting speakers, manage the website and archive relevant material.
Open meetings, with speakers on a variety of historical topics, are held at 8pm on the third Thursday in alternate months: January, March, May, July, September and November, at The Club, High Street, Hanslope, MK19 7LQ. We welcome new members at a very modest £5 annual subscription (collected in January), and guests are charged a £2 fee.
Various publications relating to Hanslope are available at society meetings.
We have a growing archive on our website consisting of maps, photographs, records, newspaper cuttings, wills and other documents.
