Tuesday, 16th July 2019 from 7.30 to 9.00 pm
The Forum, Moat Lane, Towcester, Northamptonshire NN12 6AD

As part of the CBA Festival of Archaeology 2019, the Historic Towcester research group will be giving a free walk around Towcester Old Town looking at some of the town’s buildings and monuments which the group are researching. These include medieval and Tudor inns, a medieval priest’s house, a Victorian workshop and the last thatched cottage in the town.

Both walks start outside The Forum, Moat Lane. Short stay and long stay car parks are located close to the Forum on the Northampton Road. The walk will be along footpaths but will involve crossing busy roads and is expected to last between 60 and 90 minutes. It will be led by Brian Giggins.
