Have-a-go archery, birds of prey, knights, squires, monks, markets, food. What’s not to love about the Middle Ages?!
On the 15th September at Bradwell Abbey, one of Milton Keynes most loved heritage sites, immerse yourself with knights, squires and monks as you are transported 800 years to the middle ages. Try on arms and armour, see if you can put Robin Hood through his paces in have-a-go archery and admire magnificent birds of prey. Peruse the wares of historical market traders and enjoy hot food and drinks.
Dressing up is not required but highly recommended. Why not come as a king or a sorceress, let your imagination run wild. You can even let the children dress up as well if you want!
Been to the Medieval Fayre before? Share your favourite photos from previous years on Facebook.
