Milton Keynes: A Journey to 2050 is a four week exhibition being held in the heart of the borough to give everyone the opportunity to come and see what the future plans are for Milton Keynes.

In 2016 the MK Futures 2050 Commission published their report recommending Six Big Projects to transform Milton Keynes, making our great city greater.

It has now been three years since these recommendations were published. We now want to share our progress with everyone in MK at our exhibition in the Milton Keynes Central Library where you can explore how we are moving forward with our plans for the future of Milton Keynes from 21st August – 21st September.

Our exhibition will include:

  • The shortlisted designs for MK:U, the new model University for Milton Keynes as part of an international design competition
  • The story of how Milton Keynes will grow to a population of half a million people by 2050
  • ‘New Mobility’ At a Crossroads including Delivery Robot Model
  • The Future of CMK with information about new Residential, Leisure and Retail Developments in CMK
  • The Creative and Cultured City showcasing how a Festival of Creative Urban Living will transform Midsummer Boulevard.

This will be a great opportunity to explore and learn about the future of your great city.

Location: The Event Space, Milton Keynes Central Library.
