An insight into life in Simpson 50 years ago at the birth of Milton Keynes and how aspects of the village have changed and developed over time. Drawing on the memories of residents, photographic and documentary sources, and the development of housing. The exhibition also embraces the growth of neighbouring Ashland, from 2007.
Access: The hall has wheelchair access and an adapted toilet.
There is a related exhibition – The Way we Were – in St Thomas’s Church, Simpson (2 minutes’ walk away). Limited parking beside the hall. Toilets with baby-changing facilities. Refreshments. Assistance dogs only.
