Early predictions did not estimate how the new town of Milton Keynes would boom and become so diverse. The melting pot of newcomers, learning to live together, has been enriched by an increasing influx of migrants from Somalia, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Iran and the Caribbean, with more recently coming from Afghanistan, Iraq and Syria.
This is a unique story with an important heritage component to share with future generations in Milton Keynes and elsewhere.
