A Poetry Evening took place on Thursday 22nd May 2008 when Neil Beardsmore read the poem he had written for the Sesquicentenary. He illustrated his recitation with slides.
Local residents recited their favourite poems and senior members of the community had the opportunity to relate their memories of growing up in New Bradwell.
