West Walter John. MM Corporal 14737, 7th Battalion, Northamptonshire Regiment. He volunteered in September 1915and was drafted to France. There he played a prominent part in a number of battles. He was in wounded in action in July 1917 and was invalided back to England. Died as a result of his wounds on 3rd November 1917 Age 31. Born Stoke Goldington, enlisted Northampton. Awarded the Military Medal (M.M.)for conspicuous bravery in the Field. Buried in south west part of St Peter's Churchyard Stoke Goldington, Buckinghamshire
