Comparison with Archive Photo 1 shows the main changes: the cottages on the right hand side have been demolished and replaced with new houses. On the left, the single storey building at the rear of Sherington Place has acquired three windows. This single storey section was subsequently replaced by a shorter two storey extension. Note also the speed limit signs - more recently the 30mph zone has been extended up Gun Lane to the edge of the built-up area.
