Towcester Cemetery 1885-1939
inscription 142 of 366

IN LOVING REMEMBRANCE OF MINNIE, SECOND DAUGHTER OF
JAMES & SARAH BAKER, WHO DEPARTED THIS LIFE SEP.26, 1886, AGED 22 YEARS.
"I LEFT IT ALL WITH JESUS."
WITH GREAT AFFLICTION DID MY STRENGTH DECAY,
WORN OUT WITH PAIN BROUGHT TO THIS DUST OF CLAY
ALL MEANS WERE USED BUT HUMAN SKILL WAS VAIN
TILL CHRIST THE TRUE PHYSICIAN EASED ME OF MY PAIN
IF LOVE AND ANXIOUS CARE COULD DEATH PREVENT
HER DAYS WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN SO QUICKLY SPENT.
