Albert became an apprentice engineer at the Wolverton Railway Works.
His employment record card was discovered in April 2001 .
The card shows that he was previously employed by Mr Leeming, Chemist, Wolverton
Albert was engaged on 4th July 1913 as an apprentice fitter in The 'Bogie' (sic) Shop. On 29th June 1914 the card shows he was moved to the Fitting Shop. He was earning 5/- (25p) per week. On the back of one of the cards it states "Cut Hand 7.6.15 Accident Report 7/229".
