Garden Furniture - With most gardens laid to lawn, surrounded by flower borders, the most prevalent from of 'furniture' in the rear gardens is the ubiquitous wooden or cast aluminum table and chairs, which will survive all weathers.

There are few obvious items of family furniture, where few of the bungalows house young families - and half are occupied by retired people - though there are plenty of decorative features such as pergolas.

And there are some of the water features beloved of TV gardening programmes, and even a small swimming pool!

There is even some statuary, and of course the ample trees and bushes encourage a range of birds to visit the gardens.
