St. Simon & St. Jude Church

Church interior c.1891. The conclusion for this date is because of a photograph of the choir (dated 1891) which is by the same photographer and mounted in a similar style. The east window was replaced sometime after 1899. Caroline Walpole died in 1899 and her children had a new window made and dedicated to her. The wording on each side of the wall behind the altar reads "Alleluia" See Church Tour No. 21
