In the name of god Amen I Georg Dorman of castlethorppe the Countie of Bucks husbandman being sicke in body but of good and perfecte memory thanks be to Almightie god do make this my last will and testament in manner and forme following firste I bequeath my soule to Almightie god my maker and redeemer and my body to be buried in the churchyard of Casle thropp Item I geve and bequeath to Willm. Dorman my sonne xxs to be payd unto him within one yeare next after my departure out of this world. Also I geve to Robert, Willm younger and James Dorman nowe my sonnes Willm. his children to each of them one sheepe or five shillings of money at their choise to be payd unto them within one yere likewise after my decease And if any of them said children do depart before they receive there said Legars then every of there said porcons so unpaid shall remane unto the reste then lyving, and so to the longeste lyver of him or them Item I geve to Thomas Travell my wyves sonne three strike of sede barley to be paid unto him likewise within one yere next [after] my said decease AlsoI geve to Joane Thomas Travells daughter [missing torn] one ewe sheepe to be paid unto her within one yere next after my said decease Also I give to Francis Travell sonne of the same Thomas travel one [missing torn] sheepe to be paid unto him within one yere next after my decease Also I geve to Thomas travel his other sonne one other lambe to be Paid likewise within one yere next after my said decease Also I geve to Agnes Elizabeth Margett and marie, his daughters to each of them a lambe sheepe to be paid unto them in manner as the other aforesaid Also I geve to Agnes Cooke my wyves daughter one bussell of barley to be paid unto her likewise as the other aforesaid Also I geve and bequeath to the poor inhabitants within the parishe of Castle throppe to each of the said howses one [strike] of barley to be delivered unto them personally next after my funeral and burial The reste of my goods and Cattles unbequeathed (my debts paid and my funeral Discharged) I geve and bequeath to Rychard Dorman my sonne whom I make my full and sole executor of this my last will and testament And I do ordayne and make Thomas Mathewe younger and John parratt of Castle throppe aforesaid my overseers supervisors to see this my laste will and testament well and trewly performed and fulfilled and for their paines I doe geve them twelve pence a peece Wittnesses this will made the ixth daie of September An dm 1581 and in the xxiij th yere of the rayne of our soveraigne Lady Elizabeth by the grace of god queen of England france and Ireland defender of the faith
