William Nicholes 1772

In the Name of God Amen I William Nicholes of the Parish of Castle Thorp in the County of Bucks Labourer being in good health of Body and of sound and disposing Mind memory and Understanding Thanks be to Almighty God for the same Do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner following (that is to say) In the first place I commit my Soul to God that Gave it and my Body to the Earth to be decently buried According to the Discretion of my Executrix herein after named And as to such Worldly Estate wherewith it has pleased Gos to bless me I give devise and dispose thereof as followeth Item I give and bequeath unto my loving Wife ffrances Nicholes all my Estate and Estats whether Real Copyhold or Personal of what Nature or kind soever and wheresoever lying and being and every part thereof with all Debts dues demands whatsoever or wheresoever I die Possessed of whom I also make sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking and making Void all dormer and other Will and Wills by me at any time heretofore made But if my said Wife Frances Nicholes does not continue a Widow after my Decease then the House with all Privileges thereto belonging to be divided equally share and share among my Children that shall be then living at the day of her Marriage And I desire and appoint Thomas Johnson and Richard Nichols of this Parish to take Care and to be In Trust of this my Last will and Testament to see it faithfully Performed to the best of there Power In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this fifteenth day of February in the Year of our Lord 1756 William Nichols Signed Sealed Published and Declared by the Testator as and for his last Will and Testament in the Presence of Us who have Subscribed our Names as Witnesses Lawrence Harraway Thomas Johnson Thomas Nickels
