John Perrott 1688

In the Name of God Amen I John Perrott of Castle Thorpe in the County of Bucks yeoman being weake in Body but of Sound and perfect minde and memory doe make and Ordaine this my last Will and Testament in manner following ffirst I commend my Soule into the hands of Allmighty God hopeing to be Saved through the Merits of Jesus Christ my only Saviour and Redeemer And my Body I Comitt to the Earth from whence it came to be decently buryed by the discretion of my Executrix hereafter named and as for that worldly Estate as it hath pleased Allmighty God to bestow upon me I give and bequeath the same in manner following (that is to say) I give devise and bequeath unto my Three Daughters Markes Elizabeth and Katherine Perrott the summe of ffifteene pounds apiece to be paid to them when they shall come to the Age of One and Twenty yeares and in Case either of my said Daughters shall happen to Dye before She Shall come to the Age of one and Twenty years that then the share or proportion of her soe dyeing Shall come to the Survivor or Survivors of them Item all my Goods householdstuffe Cattle and Chattells whatsoever I give devise and bequeath to my loveing Wife Markes Perrott whom I make Sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament revoakeing all former wills by me made And I doe desire and make Edward Creake of Castle Thorpe aforesaid and my loveing Brother John Nicholls of Castle Thorpe aforesaid to be Overseers of this my last Will and Testament In Wittness whereof I have hereunto sett my hand and seale this sixteenth day of April In the Six and thirtieth yeare of the Reigne of our Soveraigne Lord King Charles the Second over England etc. Annoq Dim 1684 the marke of John Perrott Signed Sealed published and declared to be the last Will and Testament of the said John Perrott in the presence of Leo: Thomson the make of John Warner: the marke of Thomas Nicholls Tho: Hurst
