Audrey Bland 1662
In the name of God Amen the 30th. of December 1662 in the fourteenth year of the reign of our sovereign Lord King Charles second by the grace of god of England Scotland France and Ireland defender of the faith.
I Audrey Bland of Aldrington in the county of Northampton; widow being sick in body but of good and perfect memory, thanks be to Almighty God for it do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following. First being penitent for my sins past desiring forgiveness of the same I give and bequeath my soul unto Almighty God my Saviour and redeemer in whom and by the merits of whom, I … of … to be saved, and my body to be buried in such place where it shall please my executor hereafter named and for my temporal estate that God hath pleased to bestow upon me, I do order and dispose the same in order and form following. Viz. I give my son Edward Bland two shillings.
I give to my son John Bland all the rest of my goods whatsoever whom I make my executor to pay my debts and pay my funeral expenses. In witness whereof I have put to my and the day and year above written.
