Edward Bland 1675

The oath to be administered to the Administrix laying her hand upon the Booke.
You shall sware that your late husband Edward Bland late whilst he lived of Aldrington als. Alderton in the County of Northampton deceased, dyed without making any will so far as you know or verily believe, and that you shall pay all his debts and other duties so far as his goods chattels and credits will extend and the law require, and make a true and perfect Inventory of all the said deceased goods chattels and credits and exhibit the same in to ye registry of ye of the Ld. Bishop of Peterborough at or before ye feast of St. Michael the Arch Angel next ensuing .And further shall make a just and faithful Accompt of her Administration when she shall be thereunto Lawfully required so help you God.
