Mary Bland 1729
In the Name of God amen I Mary Bland of Alderton in the county of Northampton Widow being ill in body but of sound mind & memory praised be to God for the same do make ordain this my last Will & Testament in manner following (that is to say) I give devise & Bequeath all my Freehold Lands in Alderton & elsewhere unto my loving son Richard Bland his heirs & assignees for ever. I do give and bequeath all my household goods crops stock chattels cattle & all other my personal estate whatsoever ( or which I have any right like or interest in ) unto my loving sons John Bland & Richard Bland to be equally divided between them share & share alike. And I do hereby constitute & appoint them my said two sons joint executors of this my last Will & testament & do revoke disannul & make void all & every other Will & Wills by me howsoever … In Witness of I have hereunto set my hand & seal this nine & twentieth day of August in the third year of the reign of our Sovereign Lord George the second by the Grace of God of Great Britain France & Ireland King defender of the Faith . 1729
