John Homan 1572

In the name of God Amen the 26th day of May in the year of our Lord God 1572 I John Homan of Alderton within the county of Northampton. Being whole in mind good and perfect in memory thanks be given unto God. Do make constitute and ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following, first I bequeath and commit my soul to Almighty God and to all the Holy Company of Heaven, and my body to be buried in the churchyard of Alderton aforesaid first I bequeath to Edmund Homan a colt half an acre of barley and 10s of Lawful money of England.
I bequeath to Thomas Homan half an acre of peas
I bequeath to Richard Homan two roods of barley
I bequeath to Margery Homan a feather bed and all that belong there unto, and a cow bullock and two platters and a salt cellar and 40s of lawful money of England
I bequeath to Agnes Homan a cow a pair of sheet two platters 20s of Lawful money of England, to be paid her at 16 years of age.
I bequeath to Johne Homan a cow a pair of sheets two platters and 40s of Lawful money of England to be paid at 16 years of age the which £6 to be paid at John Homans hand
I bequeath to John Homan a dune mare 3 horses , and he to enter upon half the fallow now. The rest of all my goods movable and unmovable my debts being paid and my body honestly brought to the ground I give and bequeath to Dorothie my wife whom I make my sole executrix .
