Being weak in body but of sound memory. Praised be God, do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following. First and especially I give my soul to Almighty God. Hoping through his mercy and the merits of Jesus Christ my Saviour, to obtain the redemption of my sins and my body I commit to the earth to be decently buried at the discretion of my executrix hereafter named. Item I give to my son Michael Holman the sum of ten pounds to be paid the next year after my death. Item I give to my daughter Edborrough Holman the sum of five pounds to be paid the next year after my decease. Item I give to my daughter Emma the sum of ten pounds to be paid two years after my decease. Item I give to my daughter Hannah ten pounds to be paid three years after my decease. Item I give to my son Thomas the sum of twenty pounds to be paid when he shall arrive to the age of one and twenty years. Item I give to my daughter Rose the sum of ten pounds to be paid when she is one and twenty years of age. I give to my son Michael Holman all my free lands in Blaxley [Blakesley] in the county of Northampton to him and his heirs forever but my will is that my dear wife Edborrough shall have the thirds of my said free lands during her life after the decease of my mother Emma Holeman. Last of all I make and constitute my dear wife Edborrough Holman my sole executrix to whom I give and bequeath all my goods and chattels unbequeathed and personal estate whatsoever in witness whereof I have here set my hand and seal the 24th. day of December, in the fifth year of the reign of our sovereign Lord and Lady King William and Queen Mary of England Scotland etc. 1693.
