Catherine Randolph 1734

To all People to whom these present shall Come I Catherine Randolph of Aldrington in the County of Northampton widow Send Greeting Know ye that I the said Catherine Randolph as well for and in consideration of the natural love and affection which I have and [beas?] to my Daughter Catherine Plowman and also for divers other good Causes and Considerations and thereunto Moving. I the said Catherine Randolph have given and granted and by those present do give and grant unto my son William Randolph his executors administrators and assignees all and singular my goods chattels debts bonds bills ready money plate rings household stuff and all other my substance whatsoever and where so ever to have and to hold the said goods chattels debts and premises from and immediately after the death and decease of me the said Catherine Randolph unto my said son William Randolph to those and behoofe of my said son William Randolph his executors administrators and assignees. In trust that my said son do and shall in the first place pay and satisfy all the just debts that I shall owe at the time of my death . And also to pay and defray all my funeral expenses which shall be laid out and expended in the burial of me in a decent manner and according to my Rank degree or Circumstances ( the said burial to be left to the management and discretion of my said son) And from and after such payment and defraying. In trust that my said son shall do pay or put out the sum of forty pounds of Lawful money of Great Britain. And also shall and do give and dispose of my wearing apparel trunks and boxes and all that shall be therein ( except my wedding ring) being part of my substance to and for the separate and peculiar use of my daughter Catherine plowman and her children as hereafter is mentioned (exclusive of the power and control of my said daughter's now husband Richard Plowman). That is to say she the said Catherine Plowman first to have the use and benefit thereof during her life. And after her decease the same to be equally divided to and amongst the children of my said daughter Catherine Plowman (excepting Thomas Catherine & Mary) share and share alike. And as to my said Wedding Ring and all other residue of my said effects and substance (if any shall remain). To and for the only and proposes benefit and behoofe of my said son William Randolph his executors and administrators provided never the less that the said Catherine Randolph shall and may at any times hereafter revoke alter disannul or make void this deed of trust and all or any the powers herein before limited raised or created ( If I shall think fit so to do) In Witness whereof I the said Catherine Randolph have hereunto set my hand and seal this seventh day of February in the seventh year of the reign of our Sovereign Lord George the second by the Grace of god of Great Britain France and Ireland King Defender of the Faith and so forth And in the year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred and thirty three.
