Thomas Saunders 1636

The last will nuncupative [spoken] of Thomas Saunders late of Aldrington deceased who departed this life the 29th. of June 1636.

In the name of God Amen I Thomas Saunders above said being sick of body but of good and perfect memory do bequeath my soul to Almighty God my Creator hoping through the merits of Jesus Christ my Saviour to have remission of all my sins. First my body to be buried in the parish church of Alderton aforesaid.
Item I give and bequeath to Richard Saunders and to Thomas Saunders two of the sons of John Saunders my brother of Woodend in the parish of Blaxley and to Francis Saunders their sister ten pounds a piece with thirty pounds my father in law owes me to be paid them within three months after the decease of Edward Ibon my father in law now dwelling in Alderton aforesaid.
Item I give my brother John my second suit my second hat my second coat a pair of shoes and two caps.
Item I give to my cousin John the little box, best coat best suite and hat two of my best bands a pair of boots [hose?] and all my boots. And I do bequeath Francis my wife full executrix of this my last Will and Testament and do leave unto her all the remainder of my said goods and chattels.
