Thomas Woodward 1617
In the name of God Amen the nineteenth day of October in the year of our Lord God one thousand six hundred and seventeen I Thomas Woodwarde of Aldrington in the county of Northampton Labourer sick in body but of whole and perfect memory praise be God: make this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following That is to say first I bequeath my soul to Almighty God, hoping to be saved through the blood of Jesus Christ, and my body to be buried in the churchyard of Aldrington aforesaid. Item I give and bequeath to Emma Hobson five sheep. Item I give and bequeath all the rest of my goods to Nicholas Woodward my brother whom I make the sole executor of this my last Will and Testament.
