[A] Barth: Archbold Deed & afterwards on the 15th. July 1748 Joseph Wakefield Agreed by a [Mendin] in writing under his hand that his brother John Wakefield should or in Care of himself would enter into an article for a Lease of this Farm & what Barth: Archbold held in Coldhigham for 9 years from Mich. 1748 at £128.17.0 a year including 20s a year for the house he lived in which he rented of John Archbold. [B] Richard Allen agreed verbally the 16th. June 1748 to take the Meadow which Rob. Bluett had in Langman [litch]at the same rent he paid for it of £8 a year for 15 years from Laday 1748 the June he took his farm for in Foscot. [C] Lamburne & Ward entered the 7th. July 1748 into an Article for a Lease of that part of the farm late Bluett called the Wilds which was formally held by Richard Davies Knight for 12 years from Laday 1748 at the yearly rent of 45s that Bluett paid for the same.

[F] Besides the lands which Sarah Burt held at £49 a year under her husband John Burt's written Agreement for a Lease thereof for 31 years which expired at Mich. 1747. She had also another piece of land called Hollowford Meadow that was taken after that Agreement was made, this Meadow being what is called Crop & away i.e. the land is common & of no particular advantage to a Tenant after the crop is taken off. She paid 5s a year for every Summers Crop making together £54 a year both these were let the 2nd. April 1748 to John Johnson who entered into an Article for a Lease thereof for 15 years & at the yearly rent of £54 for the remainder of the term.
