Firstly, I will that my debts and funeral charges shall be paid and discharged
I give and bequeath to my brother William Bolton all that quartern of land that my grandfather Watkins gave same during his life and after his decease I give the same quartern of lands to John Bolton son of William Bolton of Yelvertoft to him and his heirs for ever paying out of it to Mary Bolton his sister ten pounds of money two years after he enter.
I give one quarter of lands that I purchased of Thomas Garrottt to my kinsman Samuel Bolton son of my kinsman Samuel Bolton for ever paying to his sister Susannah Bolton ten pounds and paying to his brother Richard Bolton £5 two years after he enters them.
I give to my kinsman George Bolton son of Samuel Bolton deceased that other quartern of lands that I purchased of Thomas Garrott to him and heirs for ever.
I give to William Bolton son of my brother John Bolton deceased and Mary his wife one quasrtern of lands which I purchased of John Harrison and now in the occupation of Samuel Watkins during their natural lives and the longer of them and after their decease I do give the said quartern of lands to his son William Bolton for ever
I give unto the said William Bolton son of the said William Bolton for ever that one third part of half yardland that I purchased of Thomas Rose now in the occupation of the aforesaid Samuel Watkins paying to Mary Bolton his sister ten pounds of money two years after he enters all which said arable lands and premises above given and bequeathed are in the parish of Yelvertoft.
I give unto the Baptised Church of Christ commonly so called by the name of Anno Baptists of whom I am a member of and in communion with in the county of Northampton the sum of £20 to be improved as a standing start for the use and benefit of the poor of the church for ever to be set out and the interest thereof to be disposed of to the poor of the church by the Trustees hereafter named that is to say John Stolton and William Stanger both of Blisworth, Thomas Smith of Potterspury and Thomas Smith of Grafton Regis and when any one of them die then for them that remain and the Church to choose other in their rooms and so successively to be chosen.
I give unto my kinswoman Elizabeth Bolton daughter of William Bolton of Yelvertoft who is now servant to me all that messuage or tenement arable lands, lay meadow and pasture belonging standing and being in the parish of Hartwell and elsewhere in Northampton also all the estate right and title and interest that I the said George Bolton now have or might have by grant of deed or letters patent or otherwise.
I give to my kinswoman Jane Palmer wife of William Palmer of Pitsford £30
I give to my kinswoman Anne Bolton daughter of William Bolton of Yelvertoft £10
I give to Sarah Bolton and Elizabeth Bolton daughters of Samuel Bolton of Yelvertfot £10 apiece
I give to William Hammons son of Robert Hammons of Crick deceased £10
I give to my kinswoman John Matthews of Yelvertoft £10
I give to my kinsman William Bolton and his wife Mary 20 shillings a year during the term of their natural lives and the longest liver of them,
I give to Thomas Garrot living at Brixworth Mill 20 shillings
Item I give to the poor of Hartwell forty shillings
And my will is that the £20 given to the poor of the Baptists as here expressed and all the legacies that given shall be paid by my executor hereafter named one year after my decease.
All the rest and residue of my personal estate, money goods and chattels whatsoever I give and bequeath unto my loving kinswoman Elizabeth Bolton daughter of William Bolton of Yelvertoft full and sole executor of this my last will dated 30 May 8 Anne
