In the name of god amen the twentie off Januarie Anno Domini 1643 I Alis Addington of potterspurie in the Countie off Northampton widdoe being perfect in memorie thanks be to god doe make this my last will and testament in manner and Forme Following First I bequeth my sowle to allmightie god my maker sanctifier and Redeemer Secondly my body to be buried in the Churchyard off potterspurie aforesaid as For the worlie goods where the lord For a time hath lent mee I give and bequeth as followeth
Item I give and beqeth to my daughter Elizabeth Trooughton the bedsted wherein I lie and the Cobberd and the Chest in the paller and all that is in them and I give hur all my waring clothes [but] to pots and a greene wastcote and I give hur 6 pare off sheets and the on horned heiffar and on dossen off great pullen and halfe a dossen off porrengers and on bras pot and on bras skimmer
Item I give and beqeth to my granchild Elizabeth Addington on Ewe and lam
Item I give to my granchild Edward Adington on Ewe and lam and I give to my granchild Alis addington on brassen Candlestick I give to Isbell battie my gree [grey] peticote and I give to my daughter An my nue wastecote
Item i give and bequeth to my sonne in law [Christopher Troughton]i all the Rest off my goods and Cattell movable and immovable unbequethed whome I make my Full executor off this my last will and testament
