Will of Richard Addington, 1661

In the name of god amen I Richard Addington of Potterspurie in the County of Northampton viteller being sick in bodie but of good & perfect memorie thankes be to god this tooe and twenty day of October in the yeare of our lord god one thousand six hundred fiftie & seven doe ordaine & make this my last will and Testament in manner & forme following First I bequeth my sole to Allmightie god my heavenly father & my Bodie to be buried in such Conveighnient place as by my Executor here after [named]i shalbe thought Convyeighneyent
Item I give & bequeth to Elizabeth Addington Alice Addington & Ann Addington my daughters six poundes thirteene shillings and fower pence apeece to be paid by my sone Edward Addington when he shall be of the Age of one and twentie yeares & my will is that my sone Edward Addington shall pay the foresaid porcions whollie of him selfe out of the howse [belonging to him]d [wherein I now live which I give to him and his heires forever only my wife to have halfe of the said howse during hir life]i Item I give & beqeth to Richard Addington, Thomas Addington Robert Addington William Addington my sones Five poundes apeece to be paid to them by my Executors after named as they shall grow or come to the age of Twentie & one yeares & my will & meaning is that Edward Addington my sone shall keepe the portion of Richard Addington my sone in his handes & allow him maintaineance for his worke till hee shall marry or other waies desease of him selfe Item I give & bequeth to Ann Traughton my kinswoman Five shillings to be paid to hir by my Executors when she shall Come to the age of Twentie & one yeares All the Rest of my goodes & Chattells mooveable & unmoveeable I give and bequeth to Marie Addington my wife & Edward Addington my sone whom I make & ordaine the Executors of this my last will & Testament Revokeing all former willes whatsoever In witness whereof I have here unto set my hand & seale they day & yeare above written,
