Henry Adyngton 1551

In the name of god Amen the first day of July 1551 I Henry Adyngton of Potterspurye in the county of Northampton sick in my body but whole of mind and of perfect remembrance thanks I give to the Lord do ordain and make this my last Will and Testament containing all my goods cattle moveable and unmoveable and all my lands tenements meadows leasures and pastures rents revertions and farms with their appurtenances within the town and fields of Potterspurye aforesaid and or else where within the realm of England First I will and give to Ane me wife all me said lands and tenements in Potterspurye Pallespurye Cosgrave Shyttellengagr and Welbaston in the said county of Northampton and also all my lands and tenements in Fedyngworth in the county of Leicester for term of her life and after her decease all the said lands and tenements and all other the premises with the appurtenances to remain to Elezabeth Anne and Alis my daughters and to their heirs of their bodies lawfully begotten evenly and indifferently to be departed amongst them and if not fortune the said Elezabeth Anne and Alis to die without issue of their bodies lawfully begotten that then I will that all my said lands and tenements wholly to remain unto Antony Adyngton my nevye [nephew] and to the heirs of his body lawfully begotten and if it happen the said Antony to die without issue of his body lawfully begotten that then I will all my said lands and tenements to remain to the right heirs of me the said Henry for ever Also I give to Anne Adyngton my second daughter £20 of good and lawful money of England Also I give to Alis my youngest daughter £20 of good and lawful money of England [unto] them at them at the day of their marriage and if it happen any of them to die before the other and before marriage had that then [illeg.] that the said £20 shall remain and be evenly divided between other 2 of my said daughters it doth so and less the [illeg.] Also I give John Thomas my brother a mare colour [illeg.] one year of age Also I give to Ryc Adyngton my cousin a [illeg.] colour bay And the rest of all my goods and not given before my debts paid I give to Anne me wife whom I ordain and make my sole executrix and master Arthur Long de [Vyle] and Antonye Forthehe esquire my overseers of this my last Will and Testament
