In Gods Name Amen the second day of February in the 16th. year of the reign of our soverign Lady Elizabeth by the grace of God England France and Ireland Queen defender of the faith etc. Anno Domini 1573 I Henrie Hillyard of Estpurie als Potterspurie in the county of Northampton shoemaker being of whole mind and good and perfect remembrance laud and praise be unto Almighty God make and ordain this my present Testament containing herein my last Will in manner and form following First I commend my soul unto Almighty God my maker and redeemer and my body to be buried in the churchyard of Est purie als. Potterspurie aforesaid where it shall please my executrix Item I bequeath to the church of Est purie aforesaid 12d. Item I give to the poor men's box there 12d. Item I will that all such debts and duty as I owe to any person or persons be well counted and paid by my executrix hereinafter named Item I give to Richard Bretten 12d. my godson Item I give to Anne Saunders 12d. and after my debts paid and my legacies performed I will that all other my goods land tenement leases and all other the premises with the appurtenances whatsoever they be within the realm of England which I have or hereafter might have shall remain unto Jone Hyllyar my wife whom I make my full executrix of this my last Will and Testament Also I make Robert Packington als.
