RW held part of farm a few years, left by one James the son of an old tenant Thos James. Bargain set to Watson LD1774. He failed & was obliged to leave the farm, though set very low to him. March 25 1776. This farm divide among the other 4 tenants and John Valentine became tenant. Management of affairs got worse, old Valentine resigned farm to his son, John Valentine, LD 1795 but he died Nov 1795. August 1796, let to Benjamin Brittain, to whom JV's widow had given possession.
