In the name of God Amen the year of our lord god 1560 the 12th. day of July I Thomas Bet [of Grafton] husbandman sicke in body but in perfect memory make my last will and testament in this manner and form as followeth First I Bequeath my soule to allmyghtie god and my body to be Buryed in the church yard of St. mary the virgin [in Grafton] Item I Bequeath unto Grafton church 6d Item I bequeath to John bett my sone a [graye] mayre to be delivyed unto hym at easter and halfe a quarter of Barley. Item I Bequeath unto William Bett my sone 3 mayres and a fole a cart and p[lowgh] with all that longe thereto, a lyttell brasse poot, a payre of shette a [flaxen and a hardon] and 3 shepe. Item I Bequeath unto annes Bet my daugher the best [cowe] 2 shepe, and a cubbard Item I Berqueath unto Anne bet my daughter a Brown cowe 2 shepe Item I Bequeath unto marget my daughter a Cowe and 2 shepe Item I Bequeath unto Elizabeth my daughter a cowe and 2 shepe Item my debts payed and my funeral expenses performed the rest of my Goods not bequeathed to remain unto William my sone and my 4 daughters whom I make my full executors to se this my will fulfilled and performed thes bearing witness [Sir] Thomas [Styrr.x? curat] Robert bla[?o]nd and John [Heyre with other more]
