I William Clare of Grafton Regis in the County of Northampton Yeoman do make this my last Will and Testament as follows I give unto my son in law William Parish and his wife five pounds to buy them Mourning I have already provided handsomely for them I give unto my son John Clare and his wife the like sum of five pounds to buy them Mourning having already provided for them I give unto my son James Clare and his wife the like sum of five pounds to buy them Mourning I also give unto my said son James the sum of four hundred pounds to be paid to him in twelve months after my decease by my executors herein after named I give unto my daughter Mary Clare the sum of five pounds to buy her Mourning I also give unto my said daughter Mary Clare the sum of five hundred pounds to be paid to her in twelve month after my decease by my executors I give unto my daughter Elizabeth Clare the sum of five pounds to buy her Mourning I also give unto my said daughter Elizabeth Clare the sum of five hundred pounds to be paid to her in twelve months after my decease by my executors herein named All the rest residue and remainder of my goods chattels cattle effects and personal estate whatsoever and wheresoever I give and bequeath unto my sons William Clare and Thomas Clare equally to be divided between them they thereout paying my just debts the aforesaid several Legarcies my funeral expenses and the charges of proving this my Will and I make and constitute them my said sons William and Thomas Clare joint executors of this my Will hereby revoking all former Wills by me heretofore made And lastly I do [ask] my two friends John Tite of Hartwell Park and Samuel Smith of Paulerspury to aid and assist my said sons William and Thomas Clare in the due execution of this my Will In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this fifteenth day of July in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and four William Clare Signed sealed published and declared by the within named William Clare the Testator as and for and to be his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who attested the same in his presence and in the presence of each other Ann Horton John Horton
On the twenty first day of November one thousand eight hundred and five administration (with the Will annexed) of all and singular the goods chattels and credits of William Clare late of Grafton Regis in the County of Northampton a widower deceased was granted to Mary Gallard (wife of Thomas Gallard) the natural and lawful sister one of the next of kin and curatrix or guardian lawfully assigned to William and Thomas Clare Minors the sons of the said deceased and the executors named in the said Will for the Use and Benefit of the said Minors and until one of them shall attain the age of twenty one years having been first sworn by commission duly to administer
