Will & Inventory

In the name of god amen. The last will and testament of Mrs. Anne Freebody made by her only consent the 27th. of August 1636 First I bequeath my soule unto god beseeching him to forgive me my sins & my body to be buried in the [parish Church] of Grafton Item I bequeath unto Mrs. Willson of Norton my best feather bed & boulster a pillow and a lined coverlid Item I give unto my cousin Mortimer's Children two kettles, one brass pott, and to hir that was my sonne John's goddaughter the feather bed and bolster and pillow which now I lye upon with the bedstedd [curteines] two blankets and one greene rugge the cubberte and one flocke bed [which lyeth under the] feather bed. Item I give my cousin Michael Sargent the little feather bedd and boulster the flock bed and straw bed with a pair of blanketts and coverlid whitch is behind the door Item I give unto [Elias Mar{?c}th] the bedstedd the greene curtains and the settle beloning there unto behind the doore Item I give unto Christopher [Mar{?c}th] my sonns John's best clothe greene sute Item I give unto my cousin Michael Sargent the white Satten doublet with gold lace and the [branched] velvet britches and the other ordinarie clothes for his sonnes. Item I give unto Mrs. Lee the great chest which is above the stares. Item I give unto Elizabeth [Borne] a round basson and a pewter cupp.Item I give unto [Joyce] Harris the lesser basson and the other pewter cupp. Item I give unto William Jackson my bible and the hanger and the chest above the stares wherein the pewter was. Item I give unto good wife Fernslye a warming pann. Item I give to [Alice] Ferneselye a little chest within the [portch] Item I give unto Mary Walters a paire of sheets. Item I give good wife Holman a paire of old sheets. Item I make my cousin Mortemar my full executor first discharging these things I have bequeathed , witness William Jackson Richard Lee. Item 26s which Richard [Done] oweth which money I appoint unto my Lady towards my buryall. Item Thomas [Paradine] oweth unto mee which I lent 6s.
