God Amen This Twentysixth Day of November in the Twelth year of the Raigne of our Soveraigne Lord England Scottland France & Ireland King defender of the faith etc. Anno Domini 1700 I Jane Newman [missing] County Norts. spinster being weake in Body yet of Good and perfect memory. (thanks be to God) do make this my Last will and [testament in manner] and form following. That is to say First I bequeath my Soul and Spirit Into the hands of Almighty God my Heavenly Father and only God to be Saved and Redeemed Into Eternall Rest through the Death of my Saviour & Redeemer Jesus Christ in whose [missing] the whole and only hope of my Salvation: my body in hope of A Joyfull Resurrection I commyt to the earth to be [buried] at the discretion of my executors under Named And touching the distribution of my Mortal Goods I dispose of the same as follows [missing] my Funerall Charges & Debts be paid and discharged Item the one half of all my Goods that be Ready Money [missing] well in Grafton aforesaid or else where I Give devise and bequeath unto my Sister Eliz: Goodman & her [missing] Goodman of Grafton aforesaid yeoman & Anthony Goodman of the same Towne & County Equally to [missing] between them Rate and Rate a Like Item the other halfe of All and Singular my Goods Chattles [missing] Debts and Credits I Give & devise unto my Brothers Children Thomas Newman of Simpton in the [missing] yeoman & Will: Newman of the same Towne Butchere & Elizabeth Newman Equally to be [missing] them my further mind and will is that the one halfe bequeathed unto my Sister Goodman & [missing] the othere halfe of All my Goods & premises unto my Brother Wm. Newmans Children shalbe [missing] At the Discretion of two or more Credible persons Elected between them Except only Tenn [missing] [cur]rant English Moneys I give and bequeath unto my Sister Goodman for her care and pains in [missing] will over and above All charges of probetts or any other Charge as may arise thereby And [missing] [ate] & appoynt my Sister Eliz: Goodman Executrix of this my Last Will & Testament making [missing] wills by me heretofore made In Witness whereof I have hereunto sett my hand and Seale [the day and] yeare first above written
